POISON ALERT: OPC warns of possible contaminants in street drug supply

Health Canada has issued a recall notification advising Canadians that four lots of activated charcoal have been recalled by the company Omega Laboratories Ltd. Activated Charcoal is often used in the treatment of patients who have ingested a poison or drug overdose with the intent of preventing absorption of the toxin by the GI tract.
